I research, apply and teach Data Science. My core research interests are about the exploitation of patterns and structures in data, and explainable artificial intelligence. Furthermore, my focus within data science lies on data visualization, dimensionality reduction & clustering, and knowledge discovery, time series analysis, swarm intelligence, self-organization and emergence, game theory and every algorithm derived from effects found in nature. If you have a collaboration proposal, suggestions for improvement of my code or work, thought provoking questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me via email.
In this webside you can find my list of publications, lectures and R packages as well as several current projects that exploit patterns and structures in data. My goal is to enable non-professionals in the field to apply data science to common problems by providing the relevant and application-focused information and functions in the language R. I am a member of the Databionics Institute.
My company IAP-GmbH conceives and developes innovative proof-of-concepts and prototypes intending to extract useful knowledge from data. If you are interested please visit IAP-GmbH.
